Friday 6 June 2025 – Double Knitting Workshop – Brigsley Village Hall

10am – 3pm

Join us at Brigsley village hall for a day of crafting and fun. Learn the double knitting technique. Double knitting is not to be confused with the yarn weight of the same name. This “double knitting” is when two fabrics are created at the same time. This is mainly used as a colourwork technique as this method allows for a completely reversible fabric with the colourwork showing on both sides. 

If you’d rather work on something else, then we’re very happy to include that and tuition for other topics will still be available (there’s a different priced option at checkout that doesn’t include the workshop handouts). Jo, Julie & Kate will be on hand to help with your knitting and crochet projects. Relax, chat and enjoy a relaxing day of knitting and crochet.

A buffet lunch and all refreshments are included. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

If you would like to learn double knitting, then please bring with you 3.5mm knitting needles (you’re knitting flat, so any type of needle is fine) and 2 contrasting colours of DK yarn – 30m [33yds] of each.
