Join us at Brigsley Village Hall for a day of knitting and crochet with a buffet lunch  (vegetarian options are available). The schedule for the day is a Knit to Fit workshop in the morning, a buffet lunch and then knit and natter in the afternoon, with knitting/crochet tuition on hand.

Learn how to “knit to fit”. We’ll be covering how to make your knitting projects fit you accurately.

• You’ll learn how to measure yourself accurately. Everyone will have the opportunity to make a record of your body measurements (optional).
• Learn about ease.
• How to create an accurate swatch.
• Look at your measurements to see if there’s any areas where modifications would be helpful.
• How to alter your pattern for waist and hip shaping.
• When it’s a good idea to add bust darts.

Please bring with you –

• 50g of DK yarn
• 4mm needles
  (If you have a future project and already have the yarn, then bring that instead of the DK yarn and 4mm; and your best guess at the appropriate needle size for your project).
• Darning needle
• Tape measure
• Pen
